The Med-Alert Medical Alarm is a portable medical alert system which is simple to install and easy to use.
The alarm can be activated through a button on a wristband or pendent that you wear. In an emergency fast and efficient assistance can be requested at the push of a button automatically establishing a telephone connection with a round the clock Medical Monitoring Center.
These attractive high tech units consists of a tabletop receiver with panic button, two-way voice response and battery backup. The unit is shipped pre-programmed to work with the wireless emergency devices , or remote units installed in various locations around the premise. By pushing a button or activating an emergency station, a signal is transmitted to the receiver/control and activates your alarm.
In the event of an emergency...
When your alarm is activated, our 24 hour Medical Monitoring Center will know exactly who you are and will have all the necessary information regarding your  medical history on a computer screen. The operator will determine the situation and immediately take appropriate action. Assistance is dispatched immediately if the subscriber is unable to answer the phone or respond over your voice unit to our operators.
The Central Station will dispatch emergency service, a neighbor or relative or depending on your needs.
In a true emergency, we will stay in constant voice contact with you during this crisis until help has arrived.
Our Med-Alert units perform a self-test monthly to ensure equipment and communications are fully operational and ready to respond during a moment of crisis.

Need to ensure that everything is fine every day? Using an optional door transmitter, if our system does not see any user activity within a pre-defined window of time, a medical operator will call the subscriber, and to see if any help is needed. We can add additional peace of mind for our customers...
