Medical Alert installation

Easy 2 minute installation: Steps to self-install your Med-Alert System:

	STEP 1: Place the med-alert system (the main control) in a central place of the home by the main phone and near a power outlet. Plug the AC adapter into the power outlet.
	STEP 2: Unplug your phone from the wall jack. Plug the main control box phone cord into the wall outlet and plug the phone (if there is one in that location) into the input on the control on the Medical Alert base marked "Phone".
	STEP 3: Call the Monitoring Center to test the system. Your unit is programmed before it is shipped. Test the system to make sure the system is receiving the signal from the pendant/wristband transmitter. Our Emergency Medical Response Operator will confirm your setup is complete!

The Mobile Medical Alert System Installation:

1)Plugging the unit into a wall outlet

2)Plug the phone cord into a wall jack*

3)Call Central Station to put your system on test.

*We recommend the use of an RJ-31 X telephone jack, easily installed by your local telephone company. This jack permits the emergency system to seize the telephone line if a telephone is off the hook.
